Policies and Procedures:
Every patient will be phoned or emailed 24 hours prior to their appointment and asked a series of questions regarding your health and any recent travels you may have had. Also, we will be asking if you've been in contact with anyone who's had COVID-19. We will ask you about your health when we welcome you in for your appointment. If you aren't well at any time ahead of your appointment, please phone us to postpone. We are unfortunately not able to welcome patients from outside our community for appointments at this time. We hope things will change in January and thank you for your understanding. It's important that we follow the current health guidelines and stay within our own communities at this time.
The office will be locked and only one patient at a time will be in with us at this time. Please arrive 5 minutes before your appointment and we will signal you in at our door or phone you to come in when it's your turn if we cannot see you near the door. You will be immediately taken back to one of our two treatment rooms in use. Please ensure you have given us a cell phone number to reach you. If you do not have a cell phone, we will make other arrangements with you.
Please ensure you have a medical mask at this time. Cloth will be accepted if necessary. We will not be providing masks at this time. We may be in a position in future to be able to offer this, but not at present. You will be required to take down your mask for short periods of time prior for photos etc but when possible, you will wear the mask at all times while inside the clinic.
We have removed the waiting area, brochures etc at this time and doors will be locked between appointments. Please wait in your car until your appointment time if you arrive early. Come to the door at your appointment time.
Do not bring any guests and please try to use your own washroom prior to your appointment as ours is reserved for emergencies only at this time.
Dress comfortably as there are no bedding and blankets in the treatment rooms. This allows us for proper sanitizing between each patient.
We have reduced the number of services daily to allow for sufficient sanitizing of the treatment rooms in between clients. Certain services are only available on certain days at this time.
Our phone lines are open during this time, but we are extremely busy. When possible please email lindsay@whitewavemedical.com or whitewavemikulas@gmail.com for quicker communication with our office.
Use the hand sanitizer provided upon entry and exit.
