PRP-PLATELET RICH PLASMA

Harness your body's natural age-defying power.  Personalized Cell Therapy is a PRP (platelet rich plasma) procedure that harnesses your body's own healing and regeneration processes.  PRP's medicinal effect originates from a multitude of growth factors and signalling molecules found in platelets and blood plasma.  Personalized Cell Therapy uses a new, next generation PRP system, allowing simple preparation of pure, organic and clinically evaluated PRP without the use of synthetic additives.

It is used in aesthetic medicine to improve aging, crepey skin on the face, neck, decolletage and hands, reduce wrinkles and dark circles under the eyes, and minimize the appearance of facial scars.  PRP can also be used to treat hair loss.

PRP for Hair loss

PRP has also been clinically proven to treat alopecia (hair loss) in men and woman.  Ask us about the next generation of PRP Therapy and find out whether this would be a good treatment for you.  We will customize a package that's right for you based on your concerns.

You may be a candidate if:

  • you relatively recent hair loss

  • you have thinning/wispy hair

  • you have sudden loss of hair due to illness or stress.

PRP for hair loss may not be a good choice for you if:

  • You have thyroid disease, lupus, liver disease, skin disease, or skin cancer.  Disorders like these can continue to cause hair loss over time, making treatment ineffective.

  • You’ve recently been on a blood thinner
For PRP to work well, you need good strong platelet function. Anything that makes your platelets less active will also make your PRP treatment less effective.

  • Your hair loss is genetic
Since PRP comes from your own body, it wouldn’t change the genetic programming of your hair follicles.
